Inter’s will not negotiate their contract extension offer to defender Milan Skriniar beyond the €6.5 million net per season that is already on the table.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri have made clear that their offer stands where it is and that they have no plans of negotiating it any higher.

Skriniar has had Inter’s offer for several weeks, but the club are still waiting for a response from the Slovakian.

The offer is worth around €6.5 million net per season, which would take the player level with the likes of striker Lautaro Martinez and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic as far as earners at the club.

It is yet to be clear whether the 27-year-old former Sampdoria defender would accept the offer that stands, or if he would only extend his deal for a raised offer.

However, according to Mediaset, Inter have no intention of negotiating any further or making a higher offer, one way or another.
