AZ Alkmaar Targeting Inter Milan Wingback Mattia Zanotti, Italian Media Report

AZ Alkmaar are interested in signing young Inter wingback Mattia Zanotti.

This according to Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, who report that the 19-year-old has emerged as a target for the Dutch club, who could look to move early to anticipate the competition for his signature.

Zanotti has emerged as a talent who is ready for the senior game, having come through Inter’s youth academy system.

The 19-year-old, who will turn twenty in just a couple of days on January 11, has already made appearances for the Nerazzurri’s senior team, in addition to starring for the Primavera side.

There has been some nascent transfer interest in Zanotti, but according to TuttoMercatoWeb, AZ have emerged as one of the more serious suitors for the youngster.

According to the news outlet, the Dutch side would be ready to try and move to sign Zanotti, possibly as early as January, although a possible formula for a deal is not yet reported, nor whether Inter would consider listening to their offers.
