Chelsea would be read to rival Inter for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich have cooled their interest in signing the Frenchman, but that the Blues are becoming increasingly keen.
Thuram remains as much a target for Inter as ever, with the Nerazzurri considering the Frenchman to be a priority in attack.
The competition for the former Guingamp striker’s signature is certainly there considering he will be available on a free transfer in the summer when his contract expires, or possibly even this month for a fee.
However, the likes of Bayern and United are not as interested as they had been at one point, according to Mediaset.
However, formidable competition for Thuram’s signature could arrive from the Premier League for the Nerazzurri still.
Chelsea are keeping track of the situation, and could decide to move for the Gladbach striker.
