The agent of Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries feels that for the moment the Dutchman is as committed as ever to the Nerazzurri, although a transfer could well happen in the future.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster RAI Radio, via FCInterNews, Dumfries’s agent Rafaela Pimenta noted that the World Cup campaign that Dumfries had with the Netherlands will have made the Nerazzurri happy, and also increased transfer interest in the 26-year-old.

Dumfries has emerged as one of the main candidates for a possible big money sale from Inter in recent weeks.

The Dutchman has no shortage of transfer interest, particularly from the Premier League, whilst the Nerazzurri could try to capitalize on this by selling him at a high fee.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen how the player will approach things.

According to the Dutchman’s agent, he is fully committed to playing for the Nerazzurri for the time being, although this could change as his situation evolves.

“We’re all very happy for him,” Pimenta said, “we saw the matches that he played at the World Cup, we expected that he’d do well like that.”

“We’re happy with how he’s doing,” she continued, “and we hope that Inter will be as well, I’m sure they will be.”

The agent added that “Right now his heart is completely at Inter, and then we’ll see what happens in the future.”
