The agent of Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries feels that whilst the 26-year-old is currently committed to his club, this does not necessarily imply certainty about his future.
Speaking to Italian broadcaster RAI, via FCInter1908, the Dutchman’s agent Rafaela Pimenta explained that for the moment he is an Inter player, but that the future could be different.
Dumfries has been one of the Inter players most strongly linked with a transfer away in recent weeks.
There is no shortage of interest in signing the former PSV man, particularly from teams in the Premier League.
Moreover, the widely-known financial issues at the Nerazzurri could still make a major sale like that of Dumfries necessary.
The Dutchman’s performances for his country at the World Cup in Qatar have only served to increase his value.
Accordingly, it is unlikely that the transfer links will go away, although for the time being at least he is as committed as ever to the Nerazzurri.
“He’s an inter player now, and then we’ll see what happens in the future,” Dumfries’s agent Pimenta said.
