Inter captain Samir Handanovic is set to be on the sidelines for around a week through a leg injury.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the 38-year-old mill miss out on tomorrow evening’s Coppa Italia round of sixteen tie against Parma, and possibly the Serie A clash with Hellas Verona over the weekend.
Inter confirmed today that Handanovic had suffered an injury to his left injury.
The problem will be enough to keep the Slovenian out of action for a spell, but according to Sky the period in which he will be out will not be long at all.
The broadcaster anticipates that Handanovic, who is currently the backup keeper to Andre Onana, will be out for around a week as he recovers from the problem.
There is no doubt that Handanovic will miss out on the Nerazzurri’s squad for Wednesday evening’s Coppa italia round of sixteen match against Parma, whilst Saturday’s match against Verona in the league is also a doubt.
