Serie B team Ternana are interested in loaning in Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito for the rest of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Umbrians are among the 20-year-old’s suitors now that his loan spell with Anderlecht looks set to be cut short.

Esposito had been on loan in Belgium with Anderlecht over the first part of the season, but limited playing time there has meant that his loan will be ended early and he will seek a new club for the rest of the campaign.

Teams in Italy have been among the 20-year-old’s suitors, with interest coming from both Serie A and Serie B.

Anderlecht has been out on loan with both SPAL and Venezia in recent seasons, whilst the striker spent last campaign on loan with Basel in Switzerland.

According to the Gazzetta, Ternana are keen on Esposito, although only if they can first offload striker Stefano Pettinari.
