Inter are looking at Torino defender Perr Schuurs as a possible target to reinforce their defense in the event that Milan Skriniar leaves at the end of his contract.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 23-year-old would cost around €25 million, and that AC Milan and Napoli are also interested in him.
It is looking more and more probable that Skriniar could decide to leave Inter at the end of his contract rather than extending with the Nerazzurri, according to Tuttosport.
Accordingly, the Nerazzurri are in search of defensive reinforcements, albeit not players who would arrive on huge fees.
Schuurs is considered by Inter to be one of the players with the best balance between quality and price.
The Dutchman had previously been targeted by Milan whilst he was at Ajax and the Rossoneri are still also interested, whilst Napoli are also keen.
Meanwhile, the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, and Paris Saint-Germain have all shown an interest in Schuurs in the past.
Given that Torino played a fee of €9 million to Ajax for Schuurs in the summer, plus a potential €2.3 million, they would seek a fee more than this.
According to Tuttosport, the Granata would want around €25 million for the Dutchman, whilst they have lined up Hellas Verona’s Isak Hein as a replacement.
