Inter look to have a problem with holding onto leads and seeing out matches, with the Nerazzurri having let a number of points slip from their grasp from winning positions already this season.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Nerazzurri’s 2-2 draw with Monza over the weekend was only the latest time Inter have allowed a team to come back against them in Serie A.

Of Inter’s five losses earlier in the campaign, three had actually come in matches where the Nerazzurri had scored the first goal.

The Nerazzurri scored early on against all of AC Milan, Udinese, and Roma before allowing those teams back in to take maximum points.

Against Monza on Saturday, Inter at least managed to come away with a point, but the fact remains that they will have been hoping for much more, and appeared to be on their way to the win until very late on.
