Young midfielder Alessandro Ciardi has officially left the youth system of Inter to join that of Austrian giants Red Bull Salzburg.
This is is confirmed in an official announcement by Red Bell Salzburg’s Twitter account, in which they state that the 16-year-old has joined on a three-year deal, which runs out at the end of June 2025.
Ciardi has come through Inter’s youth system, and has played for the Nerazzurri at up to the Under-17 level.
The attacking midfielder recently turned 16, with his birthday coming on January 7.
Ciardi has decided to join the youth ranks of Red Bull Salzburg, with the Austrians having a top reputation for the development of young players.
Given that the young midfielder had not been under any professional contract with the Nerazzurri, the Austrians negotiated with the player directly, and have not had to pay a fee to his former club in order to sign him.
