Bayern Munich’s Noussair Mazraoui, Club Brugge’s Tajon Buchanan, and Genk’s Angelo Preciado are all among Inter’s targets to replace Denzel Dumfries should the Dutchman be sold.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are firming up their succession plan for the Dutchman as the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United begin to circle around him.

Inter’s preference remains to keep Dumfries until the end of the current season and then sell him, but if Chelsea or United were to make an offer that meets their €60 million asking price this month they would be ready to accept it.

Whether Dumfries departs in the January transfer window or in the summer, the Nerazzurri will be ready.

According to the Gazzetta, Bayern right-back Mazraoui would be the top target if he is attainable.

The Moroccan is not a guaranteed starter at the Allianz Arena, and Inter are hoping that they could tempt him away with the promise of more playing time, whilst the German champions would value him at around €25 million.

Meanwhile, Brugge winger Buchanan is very much on the Nerazzurri’s shortlist of possible replacements for Dumfries, whilst Genk’s Preciado is also a target.
