Both Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu will be fit to start for Inter in next week’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the midfield duo will both be available for the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven in the match, whilst Marcelo Brozovic should be fit enough to make the bench.

Inter can breathe something of a sigh of relief after medical tests yesterday showed that neither Barella nor Calhanoglu had suffered any serious medical injuries to have caused them to have to come off during the second half of the team’s Serie A clash with Monza on Saturday.

On the contrary, the duo should each be able to return to full training soon, and there is little doubt that they will be able to start against the Rossoneri next Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Brozovic’s recovery from a calf problem is on track, and the Croat should be ready to be on the bench for the start of next Wednesday’s match.
