Chelsea are becoming increasingly interested in signing Inter-linked Borussia Monchengladbach striker Marcus Thuram.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Blues have emerged as major suitors for the 25-year-old and could become formidable competition for the Nerazzurri.

Inter have been pursuing Thuram for some time, having at one point looked close to bringing in the Frenchman towards the end of the summer transfer window of 2021.

The fact that the former Guingamp striker is set to be available on a free transfer at the end of June when his contract with Gladbach expires makes him an attractive target, but also means that the competition to sign him will be fierce.

Teams from the Premier League are starting to show an interest in signing Thuram, and according to the Corriere, Chelsea have become one of the teams with the strongest interest in the Frenchman.
