Forward Joaquin Correa was not up to par in Inter’s Coppa Italia clash with Parma yesterday, in the view of Italian media.

The 28-year-old received a score of just 4.5/10 for his performance in the match in the player ratings for the match published in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, the lowest of any Nerazzurri player.

Correa was given what has become a relatively rare opportunity to start in attack for Inter against Parma yesterday evening.

The Argentine led the Nerazzurri’s line alongisde Lautaro Martinez, but was unable to really make anything happen to break the visiting team’s defensive resistance at San Siro.

The Gazzetta argued that the former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria forward was not up to scratch, although he was hardly alone in this regard.

All of defender Danilo D’Ambrosio, midfielder Roberto Gagliardini, and wingback Denzel Dumfries received scores of just 5/10 for their displays in the match.
