Inter are keen to extend the contracts of both defender Alessandro Bastoni and Hakan Calhanoglu soon, both of whom want to stay.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri’s intention is to move fast in negotiations with the pair, both of whose current deals run out at the end of June 2024.
Whilst the Nerazzurri’s top priority right now is focusing on contract extension talks with Milan Skriniar, and attending to the situations of other squad members whose deals run out at the end of June 2023 is not far behind that, they don’t want to waste time with other players.
Both Bastoni and Calhanoglu see their current contracts run out at the end of June 2024.
On Inter’s part, there is absolutely no doubt that both of the duo are part of the long-term plans.
Accordingly, it will not be long before the Nerazzurri try to start up contract talks with both Bastoni and Calhanoglu, so that they can get things secured well in advance.
For the players’ parts, the Gazzetta reports, both Bastoni and Calhanoglu are happy in Milan and at Inter, and would be very receptive to agreeing new deals.
