Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are expected to be the two Inter strikers to start against Hellas Verona in Serie A this weekend, and this could be a positive omen for the Nerazzurri.

As Italian news outlet FCInterNews highlight, the pair have scored a total of fifteen career goals between them in matches against the Gialloblu.

Given that Romelu Lukaku’s fitness is a doubt for Saturday’s match, whilst Joaquin Correa does not look to be in form, it is highly probable that Dzeko and Martinez will be the two starting strikers for the Nerazzurri as they seek to get back to winning ways in the league.

Dzeko has scored a total of seven goals against the Venetians between his time at Roma and Inter.

Meanwhile, his likely strike partner Martinez has done one better, scoring eight against the Gialloblu since arriving at Inter in the summer of 2018.

The Nerazzurri will hope that one, or preferably both, of the two strikers, can keep this form in front of goal in their latest meeting with this particular opposition.
