Inter midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is the closest out of himself, Nicolo Barella, Romelu Lukaku, and Marcelo Brozovic to be fit to start in the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona tomorrow evening.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who reported this afternoon that the 28-year-old is not far away from being ready to play from the start in tomorrow evening’s clash with the Gialloblu.
Calhanoglu is recovered from a minor thigh problem that had affected him during the team’s Serie A clash with Monza last weekend.
It is not yet certain whether the Turk will be able to play from the start against Verona, but there is a good chance of it.
Meanwhile, the fitness Barella and Lukaku is somewhat touch and go for tomorrow’s match, although neither would be likely to be able to play from the start.
In the case of Brozovic, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi hopes to have the 30-year-old back at his disposal for next week’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with AC Milan.
