Both Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu have fully recovered from the muscle injuries that they had picked up during the team’s Serie A clash with Monza last weekend.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo are now just working to reach full match-fitness ahead of clashes with Hellas Verona and AC Milan.
Both Barella and Calhanoglu went off with muscle problems during the second half of the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Monza last Saturday.
The team will have breathed a sigh of relief when it was revealed that neither midfielder had actually picked up a major muscle injury.
Both are now recovered, although they will be working to get back to full match-sharpness in training.
Of the pair, it looks to be Calhanoglu who would be the closest to being able to return, possibly as early as tomorrow evening’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.
