Inter plan to go after 19-year-old Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini in the event that Milan Skriniar decides to leave at the end of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that Scalvini is the Nerazzurri’s top target if Skriniar declines to extend his contract, and that La Dea would want at least €30 million for him.

Inter are starting to plan for the possibility of a succession plan if Skriniar does not accept their contract extension offer, with the Slovakian’s response anticipated next week.

The plan would be to try and make up for the loss of the former Sampdoria defender as much as possible.

Scalvini would be the Nerazzurri’s top target in the event that they are left having to replace Skriniar, according to the Corriere della Sera.

There would be no shortage of competition for the 19-year-old’s signature, however, whilst Atalanta would be expecting an offer of no less than €30 million.
