Inter forward Joaquin Correa could start in this evening’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona, whilst Roberto Gagliardini is the favourite to do so.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that both Correa and Gagliardini are candidates to retain their places in the starting eleven from the Nerazzurri’s midweek clash with Parma.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is still looking to find the right balance between rotating his starting eleven in view of next week’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with AC Milan, the packed fixture list the team find themselves in the middle of, and getting the result against Verona.

According to the Corriere, the coach could still decide to start Correa, whilst Gagliardini is likely to get a second consecutive start for the Nerazzurri.

The Corriere’s complete predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:

Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Gagliardini, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
