Inter wingback Matteo Darmian is the favourite to start on the right flank in his team’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 33-year-old is likelier to start on the right than fellow wingback Denzel Dumfries.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi is still making a few decisions regarding the starting eleven for this evening’s Serie A match against Verona.

The coach is considering whether to focus on rotating the eleven to give key players a rest ahead of Wednesday’s Coppa Italia match against AC Milan, or to go all-in on playing a strong enough team to secure the result against Verona this evening.

One of the main decisions that Inzaghi has to make is on the right.

Darmian had started both of Inter’s matches in Serie A since the return from the winter break, whilst Dumfries played in the Coppa Italia against Parma on Tuesday.

According to Tuttosport, the coach is more inclined towards Darmian this evening.
