Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi wants to play his strongest possible starting eleven in this evening’s Serie A clash with Hellas Verona.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the coach will not rotate the team significantly in view of the Supercoppa Italiana, and that Kristjan Asllani and Hakan Calhanoglu will start in midfield.
Inzaghi has no plan to play a weakened or second-string eleven against the Gialloblu this evening.
This despite the fact that the team travel to Saudi Arabia to face off against AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana in midweek.
The coach will play what he sees as the best midfield trio available, with acknowledgement to injuries, whilst Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez are anticipated to start in attack.
The Gazzetta’s complete predicted starting eleven for the match is as follows:
Inter (3-5-2): Onana; Skriniar, Acerbi, Bastoni; Darmian, Asllani, Calhanoglu, Mkhitaryan, Dimarco; Dzeko, Lautaro.
