Inter coach Simone Inzaghi was able to find the answers to unlock Hellas Verona and secure a 1-0 win yesterday, but more will be required to overcome AC Milan on Wednesday.

As reported by L’Interista.it, the former Lazio coach received mixed reviews from the Italian press after the Nerazzurri were victors at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A, courtesy of an early Lautaro Martinez goal.

La Gazzetta dello Sport awarded him a 6 in their post-match ratings and argued that whilst he had worked out how to overcome Verona, he would need different answers against a stronger opponent in Milan when Inter face their rivals in the Supercoppa Italiana in midweek.

Inzaghi also received a 6 from Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport respectively, although it was highlighted that the coach was missing key midfielders in Nicolo Barella and Marcelo Brozovic.

Tuttomercatoweb and L’Interista were more generous in their assessments of Inzaghi, with the ex-striker earning a 6.5 from both outlets.
