The agent of Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries is in London as Tottenham Hotspur think about targeting the Dutchman to reinforce at right-wingback.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that Spurs are ready to move for the 26-year-old should they miss out on Sporting CP wingback Pedro Porro, and that his agent Rafaela Pimenta will begin talks with the Premier League club.

Tottenham coach Antonio Conte has made signing a new right-wingback a priority for the January transfer window.

The Londoners have made Sporting’s Porro their first-choice target, but they are reluctant to meet the €45 million release clause that the Lisbon-based club are holding out for to sign the 23-year-old.

Accordingly, Spurs are looking at Dumfries as a major target to strengthen on their right flank.

Inter would hold out for no less than €50 million to sell the former PSV wingback, who is also a target for other teams in the Premier League.

According to FCInterNews, Dumfries’s agent Pimenta is in London and ready to start talks with Spurs.
