Inter and Barcelona are in talks over a possible swap deal involving Nerazzurri midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Blaugranas striker Memphis Depay.

This according to Spanish news outlet Marca, who claim that Blaugranas coach Xavi would not sanction an exchange of Depay for Joaquin Correa, but that Brozovic is a player he would be interested in, and that Atletico Madrid are also keen on Depay.

Reports have emerged over the past few days that Inter and Barcelona are involved in talks over possible player exchange deals.

Brozovic and Depay are two of the names who have come up, although they have been proposed more as being part of swap deals involving Barcelona midfielder and Franck Kessie and Inter forward Joaquin Correa respectively.

According to Marca, the real talks have actually concerned a possible exchange deal involving Brozovic and Depay.

The Spanish outlet reports that Xavi has made clear to his club that he would have no interest in signing Correa in exchange for Depay, but that he would consider Brozovic to be a target.

For their part, the Nerazzurri are interested in signing Depay, as he has been a player on their radar for some time.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s La Liga rivals Atletico Madrid are also keen on signing the former Lyon and Manchester United striker.
