Inter have shown little interest in signing Barcelona striker Memphis Depay as part of a swap deal involving Joaquin Correa going the other way.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who reported this afternoon that the Nerazzurri would consider the Dutchman’s high wages to make any possible transfer a non-starter.

Depay has reportedly come up in talks between Inter and Barcelona, with the Blaugranas and the Nerazzurri having been reported to be discussing a possible swap with Correa.

However, according to Mediaset, the Nerazzurri are completely lukewarm on the possibility of signing Depay.

The broadcaster reports that it is in fact the player who has proposed the idea of a possible move to the Nerazzurri, as he is keen to leave Barcelona in search of more playing time.

Depay has six months left on his current contract with the Blaugranas, but the wages on his deal are considerably higher than Inter would consider paying.
