SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla believes that Inter would not be completely closed-off to the idea of a swap deal with Barcelona involving midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie.

Reporting in a tweet, Pedulla explained that as he understands it the Nerazzurri would consider negotiating a swap deal involving the Croat and the former AC Milan midfielder, although only under certain conditions.

Reports have emerged from Spanish media during the past few days that intermediaries have brought up the idea of a swap deal between Kessie and Brozovic.

Kessie only joined the Blaugranas from AC Milan during the summer transfer window prior to the current season, but the Spanish giants could already be ready to part ways with him.

Meanwhile, Brozovic is seen as a readymade Sergio Busquets replacement in Catalonia, whilst Kessie has been a player who has been on Inter’s radar for a long time.

Pedulla tweeted that “As far as a Brozovic-Kessie swap deal as anticipated by Marca on Thursday, the sense is that if Barcelona were to propose it, Inter would not close their doors. They would consider it, but only under certain conditions.”
