A swap deal of midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie between Inter and Barcelona would not be an easy transfer to agree, but it wouldn’t be impossible.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who argue that the Nerazzurri would not be entirely closed-off to the idea of sacrificing Brozovic to bring in the former AC Milan midfielder.

Reports have emerged in the past few days of a possible swap being proposed of Brozovic for Kessie.

As far as the Croat is concerned, he is happy at Inter and in Milan, but the flattery of Barcelona would be hard for him to completely tune out.

Meanwhile, Kessie is a player who has long been on the Nerazzurri’s radar, and would be a high-quality reinforcement in midfield who would add a different profile compared to the 30-year-old.

Convincing all of Inter, Barcelona, and both players on both the idea of a swap and the concrete details involved in a deal will not be easy, of this there is no doubt.

However, the Corriere argues, it is not as far-fetched an idea as it may seem.
