Inter defender Milan Skriniar is expected to give his final response to his club’s contract extension offer after the Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan this weekend.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Corriere della Sera, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are anticipating that the 27-year-old’s response will arrive not long after Wednesday’s clash with the Rossoneri.

Given that Skriniar has now gone several months without delivering his response to Inter’s take-it-or-leave-it offer of a new contract, the sense of pessimism about his future.

However, the Slovakian has not closed the door definitively, and the Nerazzurri are still waiting to see what his response will be.

The former Sampdoria defender is virtually certain not to give his response in the next couple days, as the team focus on preparing for the Supercoppa match against the Rossoneri.

However, it is expected that the response will come not long after that match, and that it will be decisive and clear.
