Inter striker Romelu Lukaku will have two training sessions in which to show coach Simone Inzaghi how many minutes he will be ready to play in Wednesday’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the next three sessions will be decisive in Inzaghi’s decision on how much Lukaku will be able to contribute on Wednesday.

Lukaku is not likely to start against the Rossoneri on Wednesday, unless Inzaghi decides that his fitness has improved dramatically in the next few weeks.

However, the coach does intend to use the 29-year-old during the match, as the coach expects that it is probable that he will be ready to play at least some minutes.

Inzaghi will be closely watching Lukaku in training over the next few days, with the intention of seeing when exactly in the match he would feel confident introducing the striker from the bench.
