Inter striker Romelu Lukaku and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic will likely be fit enough to start on the bench in Wednesday evening’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the pair travelled with the team to Saudi Arabia and are aiming to be fit enough to play a role as second-half substitutes.

Lukaku has been out injured for Inter’s past two matches, whilst Brozovic has yet to appear in a matchday squad since the team made their return from the winter break.

Both of the pair have been getting close to full fitness in recent training sessions, and whilst neither is likely to be match-fit enough to start against the Rossoneri, both look set to be ready to appear as substitutes.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta report that Inter President Steven Zhang has also travelled with the team to Saudi Arabia.
