Inter are still in talks with Barcelona regarding the possibility of a swap deal involving midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNewss, who report that the talks between the two clubs are ongoing despite the denials of Nerazzurri CEO Beppe Marotta, and that Kessie would be keen on joining Inter.

Earlier this afternoon, Inter CEO Marotta made very clear that in his view, there are no talks taking place between Inter and Barcelona in regards to any prospective swap deals.

According to Mediaset, however, there is in fact some truth to the reports that the club are discussing the possibility of an exchange involving Brozovic and Kessie in particular.

The broadcaster reports that the Ivorian in particular would be keen on making a return to Serie A to play for the Nerazzurri.

However, there would still be a lot of work to be done for any deal to actually take place.
