Inter would only consider a swap deal with Barcelona involving midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie in the event that the Blaugranas were to pay them a cash fee on top.

This according to the online edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri evaluate Brozovic to be more valuable than Kessie, and so would not accept a straight swap deal between the two players.

Reports have emerged over the past few days that Inter and Barcelona have been discussing a possible swap deal involving Brozovic and Kessie.

According to La Repubblica, there is some truth to these rumours, and the Nerazzurri would be open to the possibility as they consider former AC Milan midfielder Kessie to be a real target.

However, the newspaper reports, an obstacle to the deal would come in the form of Inter considering Brozovic to have a higher value than Kessie.

Accordingly, the Nerazzurri would only agree a deal if it were a cash-plus-player swap with both Kessie and a fee coming in for Brozovic.
