Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is likely to miss out on tomorrow evening’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with AC Milan through a calf injury.

This according to Italian news outlet Gazzetta.it, who report that the 30-year-old is likely to be out of the matchday squad tomorrow due to the same injury which has kept him from playing any of the Nerazzurri’s matches since the return from the winter break.

Brozovic’s fitness for tomorow evening’s match against the Rossoneri has been touch and go, with the Croat having been out of all three of Inter’s last three Serie A matches as well as their Coppa Italia round of sixteen match against Parma last week.

According to the Gazzetta, the indications from training today are that Brozovic will still not be match-fit in time to be part of the squad for tomorrow evening’s match.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta also reports that Nerazzurri captain Samir Handanovic will also miss out on tomorrow’s match through a leg injury.
