The representatives of Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic have denied that there is any truth to the rumours linking the Croat to Barcelona in a possible swap deal.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 30-year-old’s representatives have been clear that as far as the player is concerned he is committed to the Nerazzurri despite the transfer rumours.

Brozovic has been linked with a possible move to Barcelona as part of a player exchange, with former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie coming the other way.

The rumours that have emerged in recent days have suggested that the two clubs have begun discussions on the possibility of such a deal.

However, the player’s decision would also obviously be important in determining whether a deal would be able to take place.

According to FCInterNews, Brozovic’s representatives have left no doubt as to the Croat’s intentions.

They report that representatives from the midfielder’s entourage have stated, “There’s no truth to the rumours, he will stay at Inter because he loves the Nerazzurri.”
