The lawyer of Barcelona striker Memphis Depay has made unequivocally clear that there are no negotiations happening between the player and Inter.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, the Dutchman’s representative Sebastien Ledure completely denied the transfer rumours linking the player to the Nerazzurri from the past few days.

Depay’s name has been linked with Inter in some reports that have emerged over the past few days.

The reports have suggested that the former Lyon and Manchester United man could be part of a swap deal involving Nerazzurri forward Joaquin Correa or midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

However, Ledure made clear that this is the case.

The lawyer represents Depay’s interests, and whilst he has not denied that the 28-year-old could leave Barcelona during the January window, he has made clear that there have been no talks regarding a potential switch to Inter.

Asked by FCInter1908 about the links, Ledure replied that “There are absolutely no negotiations between him and Inter happening.”
