Talks between Inter and Barcelona regarding a possible swap deal of midfielders Marcelo Brozovic and Franck Kessie are still ongoing.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the possibility of a deal could come down to what Blaugranas coach Xavi and Nerazzurri midfielder Brozovic decide.

Despite denials emerging from Inter CEO Beppe Marotta yesterday that there are any talks regarding a swap deal involving Brozovic and Kessie, reports have continued to suggest that there are very real talks between the Nerazzurri and Barcelona.

According to Sky, the talks remain ongoing, and could pick back up after this evening’s Supercoppa Italiana match between Inter and AC Milan.

The stance of Barcelona coach Xavi on a possible swap deal could be a crucial factor in determining the direction of the talks, according to the broadcaster.

Meanwhile, Sky also reports that the decision of Brozovic on whether to accept a move could also be decisive.
