Chelsea have made Inter wingback Denzel Dumfries their top target at right-wingback, and they are waiting to see if the Nerazzurri will agree to sell the Dutchman.

This according to UK news outlet the Evening Standard, who report that the Blues want to sign the 26-year-old during the January transfer window as their sixth signing of the window, to fill in for the injured Reece James on the right flank.

Chelsea have already made five signings this month, but the Premier League giants’ spending spree may not necessarily be finished.

According to the Evening Standard, the London-based club are very keen on signing Dumfries.

An injury to right-back James has meant that the Blues are keen on signing a player who can fill in down the Englishman’s flank, and Dumfries would be their top target in this regard.

According to the Evening Standard, now Chelsea are just waiting to see if the Nerazzurri green light a transfer for the Dutchman.
