Inter are set to hold another meeting in contract extension talks with defender Milan Skriniar by the end of the week.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 27-year-old’s representatives have told the Nerazzurri that they will be ready for another round of talks not long after the Supercoppa Italiana.

Right now, Inter’s focus is on the Supercoppa match against AC Milan this evening.

The Nerazzurri will soon have to return to the contract extension talks with Skriniar, however, as they still do not know what the former Sampdoria defender’s response to their contract extension offer will be.

According to the Gazzetta, the plan is to hold another meeting possibly the decisive one, by the end of the weekend.

The newspaper reports that there is a possibility that the decisive talks with Skriniar’s entourage could come as early as this Friday.
