Inter could stand to bring in 15% of any transfer fee if Roma sell former Nerazzurri midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo during the January transfer window.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that the Giallorossi are ready to listen to offers for the 23-year-old, who they value at €40 million, and who Tottenham Hotspur are targeting.

Roma are considering cashing in on Zaniolo as early as this month, according to Di Marzio.

Premier League side Tottenham are the team keenest on the 23-year-old, according to the Sky transfer market expert, with the Londoners hoping to bring the former Inter player in on loan with a purchase obligation or option under certain conditions.

For their part, Roma want more of a guarantee than that and would prefer a permanent sale.

Should the Giallorossi eventually receive a transfer fee for Zaniolo as part of any deal, then Inter would be entitled to 15% of this amount, as part of the agreement that saw the midfielder join the capital club in the summer of 2018.
