Inter’s mood is growing increasingly pessimistic that Milan Skriniar will decide to extend his contract the more time that passes.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the fact that the 27-year-old has gone such a long time without delivering a response is leading the club to have strong doubts as to whether he will extend his deal.

Inter are still waiting for Skriniar’s answer as far as whether or not he will accept their contract extension offer, but it has now been quite a few weeks without a reply.

According to Tuttosport, this has led to a shift in mood within the club towards pessimism about the future as far as the negotiations with the former Sampdoria defender.

This only increases with each passing day, the newspaper suggests, as the Nerazzurri are increasingly resigned to the possibility that Skriniar’s doubts and uncertainty will lead to him choosing not to extend.
