Inter are ready to start a number of important contract extension negotiations after the January transfer window closes.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri’s intention is to start dealing with the contract situations at the end of the current window, and that defender Alessandro Bastoni’s is among them.

Inter have been looking to finally get clarity on the situation of defender Milan Skriniar as soon as possible this month, but the Slovakian is far from the only player at the club whose situation requires attention.

There are a number of other players whose current deals run out at the end of June like the former Sampdoria defender’s.

Meanwhile, Bastoni’s current contract expires at the end of June 2024.

However, the Nerazzurri would have no intention of allowing the 23-year-old’s situation to drag on for too much longer.

Bastoni is among the players who Inter intend to start serious contract talks with not long after the end of the current month, according to Tuttosport.
