Inter defender Milan Skriniar has not yet signed any contract with Paris Saint-Germain, and the Ligue 1 side have not yet made contact with Inter about a transfer for the 27-year-old.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reports on his homepage that nothing has been put in writing between Skriniar and the Parisians just yet despite rumours that he has agreed to join on a free transfer in the summer.

Skriniar has been reported to have turned down Inter’s contract extension offer in the past couple days, whilst reports from French media have suggested that the former Sampdoria defender has already reached a verbal agreement with PSG.

However, it is not yet the case that the Slovakian has made anything official with the Parisians, according to Di Marzio.

The Sky transfer market expert reports that as of yet, no official contact has been made between PSG and Inter regarding the French side’s intentions either.

Of the situation, Di Marzio reports that “There are no signed contracts yet.”

“Furthermore, Inter have not received communications from Paris Saint-Germain,” he continued.

“The player is free to start negotiating on a pre-contract agreement starting from February 1, but the French club have not yet formally registered their interest in signing him, either in the January transfer window or in the summer on a free transfer.”
