Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi would allow for wingback Denzel Dumfries to be sold by the Nerazzurri.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via L’Interista, who report that the coach would not stand in the way of a transfer away for the 26-year-old, as he is happy with the form of Matteo Darmian and Raoul Bellanova in the same position.

Inter are increasingly ready to cash in on Dumfries, and possibly as early as during the January transfer window according to Tuttosport.

The newspaper reports that the Nerazzurri would be willing to listen to offers of around €45 million to allow the former PSV wingback to leave this month.

If Dumfries were to be sold during the January window, a hole would be left in the Nerazzurri’s squad, but according to Tuttosport, coach Inzaghi is convinced that it would not be too hard to fill with the players already available to him.

Matteo Darmian has been starting regularly for Inter over the team’s past few matches, and the 33-year-old continues to have the complete faith and trust of his coach.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi has been happy with what he has seen from summer arrival Bellanova in training, despite the fact that the 22-year-old has not featured all that regularly for the Nerazzurri.
