Inter midfielder Lucien Agoume could terminate his loan spell with Troyes and join Cagliari in Serie B for the rest of the current season.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoblu are close to signing the 20-year-old Frenchman on loan.
Agoume has spent the first part of the season on loan with Troyes, but the midfielder’s loan spell with the Ligue 1 side has not gone as well as his spell on loan with Brest last season.
Injuries have played a major part as the Nerazzurri midfielder has managed to make only three appearances so far this season.
However, Agoume could be in for a change in club before the end of the January transfer window.
According to the Gazzetta, Cagliari are very interested in signing the 20-year-old on loan until the end of the season.
The Sardinians had been targeting bringing Radja Nainggolan back, but now that the Belgian looks closer to joining SPAL, they are targeting Agoume to reinforce their midfield.
