Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will not hold a press conference before the Serie A match against Empoli on Monday evening.

According to FCInterNews.it, the former Lazio coach will not face the media ahead of Inter’s clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, following an intensive week in which the Nerazzurri travelled to Saudi Arabia for the Supercoppa Italiana.

Inter lifted the trophy in Riyadh after a comprehensive 3-0 win over AC Milan, and Inzaghi spoke at length to the media following the win, so it is felt that there is little need for a press conference before the match against Empoli.

Meanwhile, Inter’s preparation for the match against the Azzurri saw striker Romelu Lukaku involved in full group training today, as he completes his comeback from an injury sustained earlier this month.

It was his second full training session and the Belgian is expected to play some part on Monday, although it is unlikely that he will start.

Goalkeeper Samir Handanovic and midfielder Marcelo Brozovic trained individually, with their respective injuries likely to rule them out of contention.
