Ligue 1 side Auxerre are close to signing Inter goalkeeper Andrei Radu on loan for the rest of the season, and should get a deal for him done within the next two or three days.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the French team are hoping to have the loan move completed in the next 48-72 hours, and that all that they are waiting for is for Cremonese to officially release him from his loan move.

Auxerre look to be the team to have won the race to sign Radu on loan until the end of the season.

The Romanian has been on loan with newly-promoted Cremonese for the first half of the season, but after losing his place in the starting eleven to Marco Carnesecchi, he will join a new club for the rest of the campaign.

The Lombards have yet to formally release Radu from his loan, as they are waiting for his replacement to arrive, namely Sampdoria’s Nicola Ravaglia.

Once Ravaglia is signed by Cremonese, however, Radu will be free to join Auxerre.

The Ligue 1 side are hoping to have Radu available to play in their league match against Montpellier on Sunday.
