The agent of Inter-owned striker Martin Satriano feels that the Nerazzurri are happy with how the Uruguayan’s loan spell with Empoli is going.

Speaking to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, Satriano’s agent Nick Maytum also noted that there is some transfer interest in the 21-year-old striker coming from teams in the English Premier League.

Satriano is currently on loan with Empoli, having joined the Tuscans during the summer transfer window.

The Nerazzurri-owned striker had spent the second half of last season on loan in Ligue 1 with Brest, and this time around he has returned to Italy, getting his first taste of regular Serie A football.

The Uruguayan has had an important role to play for Empoli, who are currently comfortably in midtable and are set to face off against Satriano’s parent club Inter at the San Siro tomorrow.

Asked if he’s spoken with Inter about the player’s progress, Maytum replied “Of course, we’ve spoken a few times. Inter are happy with how he’s doing on loan at Empoli.”

Of the player’s aims for the season, Maytum replied “Fighting, working hard, and of course scoring goals to help his team.”

“He’s very excited to play at the San Siro,” the agent said of tomorrow evening’s match, “he’ll give 200%.”

Asked if there’s any transfer interest in Satriano, Maytum replied “Yes, a few teams including teams in England have gotten in touch me, especially after he made his debut with the Uruguayan national team.”
