Inter defender Milan Skriniar could be booed by fans at the San Siro in this evening’s Serie A clash with Empoli amid the revelation that he intends to leave for Paris Saint-Germain.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that whilst the rest of the Nerazzurri squad will be warmly received, the reception for the 27-year-old could be decidedly hostile.
It was reported last week that Skriniar has decided that he will not extend his contract with Inter past the end of June, and that he intends to leave for PSG.
This is likely to be acknowledged by the crowd at the San Siro in the form of more than a few boos for a player who will be wearing the captain’s armband on the night.
The San Siro will be aware of the possibility that this could even be Skriniar’s last home match for the Nerazzurri in the event that they accept an offer from PSG this month, and they will let the player know how they feel.
