Inter have made Lille defender Tiago Djalo their main candidate to replace Milan Skriniar with the Slovakian looking set to leave for Paris Saint-Germain, but they will face competition for his signature.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri’s Serie A rivals Napoli are keen on the 23-year-old who would cost €15-20 million, as are various teams in the Premier League.

Djalo has emerged as Inter’s top target to replace Skriniar in the increasingly probable event that they lose the former Sampdoria defender to PSG.

The Portuguese has made over a hundred appearances for Lille aged just 23, and has also broken into his national team.

Djalo’s form for the Ligue 1 side has attracted attention from more clubs than just Inter, however.

According to Tuttosport, Napoli have also been eyeing up a move for the Portuguese, who had been in AC Milan’s youth team at one point, as are teams in the English top flight.
